Why should I use Transfer Connex instead of my bank?

As well as being able to provide a more competitive exchange rate, we also save our customers money on payment fees and your dedicated account manager is on hand to deal with any requests within minutes.

We are not tied to any one bank or liquidity provider so we can set up solutions for our customers all over the world making it easier, faster and cheaper for you to make or receive payments.

Is my money safe using Transfer Connex?

Yes, our customers are covered for the full value of their transfers. All of our payments providers are regulated and all client funds are held in segregated client accounts. Please see our *security* page for further details.

How much does it cost to send a payment?

We do not charge any payment or transfer fees for payments linked to an FX conversion. This means you will not pay anything outside of the amount quoted on the exchange rate.

How long do payments take?

Our payments providers do not have fixed payment runs so your payments will be sent as soon as they are set up and funds are available. Most payments are sent via SWIFT and will typically credit the beneficiaries account in under 2 hours. This can vary depending on the currency and receiving bank.

How long does it take to open an account?

We can open accounts within hours. The more information provided on your initial registration, the easier it is for compliance to carry out the relevant AML checks and approve your account. Depending on the complexity of the application and initial information provided, we may require additional KYC documents.

How much does it cost to have a currency account?

It’s free. Once your account has been approved, you will have access to named currency accounts in over 30 currencies, completely free of charge with no monthly account fees.
